In December 2006, Canadian Parliament passed into Law and gave swift Royal Assent to the
First Nations Jurisdiction over Education in British Columbia Act
This Act is the first Federal Act in Canadian history to Give Any group of First Nations the Right to Assume Control over their Children’s Education on First Nations Lands.
