Overview
The CSTC Natural Resources Department has undergone some considerable changes over the last 5 years. As the dynamics in the natural resources industry change because of market economics, climate change and political focus, so have the staffing requirements and CSTC’s services. As with most First Nations organizations, our departmental needs are underfunded and the staff are constantly adapting to issues that require immediate attention. Generally our Natural Resources Department focuses on the following areas:
● Fisheries
● Forestry
● Land Use Planning
● Mapping
● Mining
● Oil/Gas
● Paul Blom, B.Sc., RPF, RP.Bio. - CSTC Natural Resources Director
● Christina Ciesielski, B.Sc. - CSTC Fisheries Program Manager
● Marlene Flannery, CSTC GIS Analyst
● Angel Ransom, B.Pl., CSTC Land Use Planning Coordinator
● Jaime Sanchez, B.Sc., MCIP - CSTC Land Use Planner
● Brian Toth, M.B.A., RP.Bio. - CSTC Fisheries Biologist
