Shus Nadloh (Mt. Milligan) Proposed Gold & Copper Mine

Terrane Metals Corp. proposes to build a $750-million gold and copper mine in the territory of Nak’azdli First Nation. The mine would directly impact Rainbow Creek, in the Nation River Watershed.  Nak’azdli is currently conducting an Aboriginal Interests & Use Study on the potential impacts and benefits of the mine. 

Nak’azdli is calling for a separate environmental review process to be carried out by the community, and is requesting the support of the provincial government and Terrane Metals for this process.
