David Luggi

David Luggi is a member of the Stellat’en First Nation and has been married to his wife Julie for 19 years and has five children. He is a member of the Frog Clan. A career administrator David completed his post secondary studies at the University of Victoria and the Justice Institute of B.C.

David Luggi was elected as the Chief Councillor of the Stellat’en First Nation for three consecutive terms. During his tenure as Chief Councillor he served as a Director of the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council (CSTC) and Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS). During this time he was also elected President of CSFS, Chief Treaty Negotiator of CSTC.

In July of 2006 David was elected Tribal Chief of the CSTC for a three year term. To this position he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working for the Carrier Sekani peoples of the central interior of British Columbia.
